We helped Ebay connect with their staff through this Video series
Challenge: Ebay Ireland's staff were now working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic and were in need of healthy recipe ideas that they could easily cook from home, and that were also available to them from the Ebay headquarters in Dublin.
Solution: Good Idea were commissioned to create a video series that would supply Ebay Ireland's staff with healthy recipe ideas. Ebay provided Good Idea with a list of recipes for the series, which included Sourdough, Kefir, Kimchi, and Kombucha. The series circled around recipes that were healthy, supporting immunity and gut health. Good Idea storyboarded the recipes and shot the videos on-site at the Ebay headquarters in Dublin, with the help of Ebay's head chef and kitchen staff.
Process: Good Idea's team began by creating a storyboard, branded visuals and script for each video. The videos were shot on-site at Ebay headquarters in Dublin, with the help of Ebay's head chef and kitchen staff. Ebay also commissioned a nutritionist that specialised in gut health to feature in each one of the videos. This gave scientific background to each one of the recipes and put there benefits in context for each viewer. The videos were then edited, brand embellished and colour corrected to ensure that they were on brand, clear and ‘digestible’ on all devices.
Outcome: The video series was a success among Ebay Ireland's staff. The videos were easy to follow and provided healthy recipe ideas that were easy to make and that could be sourced from the Ebay headquarters in Dublin also. The staff appreciated the effort that Good Idea and Ebay put into creating the videos and felt that it was a valuable resource for them as they continued to work either from home or in a hybrid context.
Conclusion: Good Idea successfully created a video series that met Ebay Ireland's brief precisely and also offered their staff and education around gut health. The videos were really well received by the staff. The collaboration between Good Idea and Ebay allowed for a seamless and efficient creative production.
